How It Works
HomeShore America provides a bookkeeping service that will become your outsourced accounting department. You will be given a single point of contact -- your bookkeeper -- with whom you can communicate via phone or email just like you communicate with another employee at your firm. Your HomeShore bookkeeper will be an extension of your company.
HomeShore America bookkeeping services include all aspects of data entry including daily transaction entries, journal entries, accruals, deferrals and so forth. Reconciliations of bank accounts, credit card accounts, vendor invoices and other statements are performed on a regular basis.
Special emphasis is placed on generating reports that provide meaningful management information in a timely manner so you never have to wonder where you stand. Regular reports include profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow, A/P and A/R aging, customer statements, sales, and many more including both summary and detail versions.
We will provide you with a custom solution that meets your needs.
Experience
- Over 20 years in implementing and customizing accounting systems including Quick Books, Real World, Platinum, Peachtree, Solomon, Titan and others
- PricewaterhouseCoopers consulting experience in process improvement, system selection, outsourcing selection, general ledger & segment reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, time and expense reporting
- Public company audit committee experience
- Coopers & Lybrand auditing experience
- Integration of CRM and other applications
- Managed large in-house accounting & bookkeeping teams in growing a company from a private start-up to a publicly listed one with over $100M in revenue
- Hands on experience with accounting systems from microcomputer to mainframe
- Over eight years experience training on Quick Books
- Managing partner, John Howlett, is a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor
